Sunstroke #2

This design shows a fabric with a red, graphic pattern on one side - and a blue, graphic pattern on the other. These different patterns are visible through colors and textures that change throughout the day.

The fabrics developed for the Sunstroke project show different shapes, colors and textures throughout the day. In this way, the project reinforces the way changing sunlight alters the perception of our everyday world by shifting expressions within levels of intensity, hue, saturation and position at different times of day, while celebrating the rich materiality of textile surfaces
